iZones iPad App Review – Time In Your Hands

Tuesday, July 27th, 2010

Like most utilities, they’re either helpful to you personally, or of no interest whatsoever and unlike a game where extended play may change your opinion, it’s not really possible to create a need or adapt your life around a utility.  iZones (iTunes link) is a perfect example of this, as you either really need international

Apple Sued Over Hot iPads

Tuesday, July 27th, 2010

As seems to be the current fashion, a lawsuit has been filed against Apple for a defective product.  But instead of it concerning the iPhone 4 and its antenna, this is all about the iPad.  According to Bloomberg, a complaint has been entered in an Oakland, California court that the ‘iPad doesn’t live up to

Friday, July 23rd, 2010

Being somewhat challenged in the art of culinary preparation, I tend to keep an eye out for cooking and recipe apps that I find helpful but not too challenging. I’ve been through a plethora of free and paid apps in all manners and styles of food, recipes and so on, but would never have dared to seek out help with sushi. That said, after a run through of the Teach Me Sushi app, I have a strong desire to try making it whether I’d eat it or not. Teach Me Sushi is a comprehensive guide to making several types of sushi (not all of which contain fish by the way) and features video presentation, step-by-step instructions and informative tid bits about these bite size munchies.
