The iPhone OS 4.0 beta 2 download is now available for iPhone developers along with the new iPhone SDK 4.0 beta 2 as well. The new iPhone OS 4.0 beta 2 firmware is supported on iPhone 3GS, iPhone 3G, iPod touch third generation, and iPod touch second generation. No new features have been discovered in the latest beta yet, because it’s mainly bug fixes. I’ll make a post if any new features are discovered. Tuesday, April 20th, 2010

A patent has provided a glimpse of what a future version of iTunes could be selling.  It describes a service called Concert Ticket +, where as one would expect, you can purchase an e-ticket to an event which is sent to your iPhone or iPod Touch and redeemable at the door. It won’t just be for

How Apple managed to lose its new iPhone

Tuesday, April 20th, 2010

If anything, Apple Inc. is known for its impenetrable security when it comes to unreleased products, especially iPhones. Despite this, Gray Powell, a 27 year old Software Engineer working for Apple managed to lose the device at a local bar. Here’s how. “On the night of March 18, he was enjoying the fine imported ales at

iPhone prototype does in fact belong to Apple

Tuesday, April 20th, 2010

I’ll admit it, I sincerely doubted the authenticity of the leaked images of the “new iPhone” that surfaced earlier this week. I was even a bit skeptical when Gizmodo posted their breakdown of the mysterious device (which was found on a barstool near Apple’s Cupertino headquarters.) Despite this, however, no doubt remains in my mind that

The iPad is spectacular at many things. If your experience is like mine you will find that it is great for surfing the web, reading eBooks, watching movies and TV shows, playing games, and light document creation. But given that this product is probably a bit ahead of its time, and manufactured by Apple, it is going to come with some limitations. The following questions and answers are designed to give you a better picture about the current strengths and limitations of the iPad. If you are a proud new owner or still on the fence about buying one, this will hopefully shed some light on the device.  By better understanding the iPad’s strengths and weaknesses, your experience with it should be more enjoyable. Can I print from the iPad? Yes and no. The iPad does not have any ability to print built into the device, however there are some apps that bring this functionality.  Some of the most popular include Air Sharing HD , PrintCentral for iPad , Print n Share for advanced printing , and PrinterShare (a freebie!). Gizmodo has iPhone 4G? It’s a fake!

Monday, April 19th, 2010

Earlier today Gizmodo made a post titled “This is Apple’s Next iPhone”. They claim that the iPhone they have was found in a bar in Redwood City. To make matters worse, they are just assuming that this really is a prototype based on the fact that they saw multiple components in the iPhone that were labeled Apple . Sorry to rain on your parade Gizmodo, but your iPhone is a fake. That explains why it doesn’t boot up, and why you can’t connect it to iTunes and download even the beta version of iPhone OS 4.0 software to it. Someone most likely took out the components from the current iPhone, placed them in a fake Chinese iPhone clone and sent it to you. I just contacted one of my sources who has had actual hands on experience with a prototype of the new iPhone, and he has confirmed that this prototype is nowhere close to what the real iPhone 4G looks like and it’s a FAKE. I’m talking to my source again right now and am trying to get more information out of him, but I may not be able to reveal much as his career is at stake here. Stay tuned! Math Pro an Excellent Tutor

Monday, April 19th, 2010

If you want an excellent math formula and calculator tool, download Math Pro . It is a very useful combination of math formulas and calculators that will help anyone tackling about fifth-grade level math and above. There is a good reason Math Pro has its name. It tackles algebra, geometry, probability, statistics, trigonometry and calculus. There are two killer features that really stand out. One is the large number of explanations and charts that can serve as a great tool when working math problems. Much of the higher levels of math involve understanding different geometric shapes or how to calculate formulas. Math Pro has very easy-to-maneuver sections describing just about most of what you would need to find. Let’s say you need to calculate the volume of a cone. Give up? It’s 1/3∏r²h. The formulas are pretty easy to find, divided up by the different math categories. Perhaps the only flaw would be the lack of an integrated search function, but even then it is not really necessary given how easy it is to tap through the various menus.(…) Read the rest of Math Pro an Excellent Tutor All App Reviews © AppCraver.com, 2010. | Math Pro an Excellent Tutor | Best iPad Apps | Best Free Apps

Leaked images of 4th generation may be real after all

Monday, April 19th, 2010

Last week we saw some images that were supposed to have been of a 4th generation iPhone, and then they were noted as not being the real deal. Except, now maybe they are. The latest image, which was again posted on Engadget (and can be seen below) may be real. It turns out the iPhone in

Monday, April 19th, 2010

The Rss Player app is quite possible my favorite app, or at the very least it is one that I would not want to lose. And because of that I often wonder what future versions will bring in terms of new features. Well, thankfully for me, the developer has recently posted the Rss Player 3.0
